Making international politics tangible - with this vision, the Club of International Politics e.V. was founded on 8 September 2010 on the initiative of students at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen.

The origins of the club lie in a shared passion for Model United Nations conferences (MUN) and the desire to bundle and promote this interest at the university. After sending a first delegation to the New York MUN in 2010, the idea arose to anchor the enthusiasm for international politics more firmly at the university by founding an association.

As a non-profit, registered association, the CIP now has more than 300 members and has established itself as a platform for discourse on international politics with numerous event formats. The aim is to give interested students, pupils and citizens the opportunity to inform themselves about international issues and to deepen their knowledge of political, economic and cultural institutions and their interrelationships - topics that are becoming increasingly important in times of progressive global networking. In doing so, the association is committed to the principles of non-partisanship and independence. With the help of a broad portfolio of events, we would like to make a contribution to political education in the Lake Constance region.

Because Politics matters!
